Posts: 1584 (09/07/09 14:18:16) Fu Manchu's Scott Hill Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	we will be playing in san diego at the end of the year and in orange county very very soon. we will be playing the east coast the beginning of dec. we are doing thing a little differently this time around. holidays will be spent at home. for the last 15 years we have spent the holidays at a truckstop or bad sandwich shop or at a crappy hotel in poland like last year. we didnt even get to play in poland. how lame is that! we will hopefully be hitting your town soon. we still have all of next year as well. europe will happen! as for the 21+ venues, we dont have much of a choice. not alot of all age places to play. we always try to book shows at all ages or at least 18+ but its hard to get that happening. scott / fu manchu

I'll start spreading the word. Nor Cal will be sold out - REPRESENT!

Uh I like Fu alot, but dude here for the second time in the past year with no show?? This sucks. No one is berating Fu for not coming it's more of a disappointment again. I lived in SoCal for several years. My family is still in Cadiff and La Jolla I have seen them there and and probably will again. Every once in a while it's just nice to see a band that you really like in the city you live in vs. having to travel to see them and then driving home the next day with a fucking hangover because you have to check out early and get back to your miserable job. My question is more this: Who are the dumb ass promoters in this city that aren't jumping on board to put on a show by one of the best. Even Clutch comes here at least 1x per year.

I just enjoy the fact that the band posts here and want it to continue. I don't want them to get turned off by being bombarded by stuff like that. Anyway, when I lived in Memphis, you wouldn't believe the lack of shows there. 2nd biggest city in Tennessee and no hard rock there. Ever. Bands went from Knoxville to Nashville to Dallas or Little Rock. Drove me nuts!!
