Totally diggin' the album. Whatever you guys did to that bass drum, it sounds like it's 10 feet tall! I'm lovin' the all around big sound.

Goddamn, that motherfucker is HEAVY!!! And the sound is fantastic...supremely heavy but clean and crisp.
Scott...I can see why you said it was the best album the band has recorded. I have only been able to give it one listen through so far but I was blown away. The whole album is an exercise pure power and fuzz, the title track is epic. As great as it sounded on cd I can only imagine how it'll sound live, and whenever that is I am so fucking there. That might be the heaviest musical work of art from beginning to end that I have ever heard...I'm not joking, seriously I say that. I will have more thoughts on it in the coming days as I immerse myself in it, but at first blush all I can say is, OUTSTANDING!!! BTW...I got the last copy on the shelf at my local music store. They, Newberry Comics, sold out what they had on the first day!!! Rock and Roll lives!!!! Debauch...Debase...Defile. |

Aaarghhh,
I have absolutely to find a disc shop that sells it in Japan... And please, guys, don't come to Europe before end of March, or at least try to come in Switzerland between the 27th march and the 15th April, I would hate to miss you live |

I listened to it at least 8 times yesterday. I have to say BEST FU ALBUM EVER!!! Favorite tracks is probably Eyes X10. The groove in that song is AMAZING.
Makes me want to jump up and down for some reason. LOL Against the ground is a STRONG runner-up.. I agree with the above post about the BASS drum. When I
finally got home and put it in my bad ass stereo. The Bass was KICKING!!! LOVE IT!! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

Conclusion, this album is SICK. First off, the production is amazing. Listening to this is a treat overall. Fav songs so far would have to be Gargantuan March,
Eyes x 10, Signs of Infinite Power (solo at the end anyone?) and Webfoot Witch Hat. This release is SOLID and very FU. Thanks you guys!! MUCH appreciated!!

Man, I LOVE this Fu Manchu album too. Although I have never been dissapointed by the Manchuda, this records smokes. That Webfoot Witchhat song is some heavy
shit- I love the freaky vocals towards the end. And McGill really nailed the artwork for this. I hope the next album has a Bigfoot theme. Fu, Thanks for
another awesome slab of rock.

There is so much Old Fu in this, but then there is Alot of the new Fu sound goin on also. I'm very impressed with how they where able to mix the two
together. Brads bass sounds so bad ass on El Busta. Just a great sound!!! I keep hearing different stuff everytime I listen. Can't wait for the show!!!
Listening to El Busta right now....Brads bass is what I call CHOPPY!!!! Hard to describe, but WOW dude! it just JAMS!!!

Lovin' the new record! That fucking solo in Webfoot where the rythm section drops out is so awesome. I love the attitude of the album. It's so
unapologetically epic. Really can't wait for the East Coast dates to get announced. The set lists so far look sweet as hell.

I love the new CD as well. There is something about it that is just above the last couple of discs. Not that I was disappointed in any way with those because
they both own as well, this just atkes it.

I listened to the entire Signs CD, the flipped over to Kyuss Sky Valley, and Sky Valley sounded so thin compared to the Fu CD, amazingly thin, almost washed
out. An unintentional comparison, but it was interesting, the contrast. The new CD is heavy, thick and fuzzy. I love it. Steel Beast Defeated and One Step Too
Far are my favorites so far.
